Therapy for Trauma
If any experiences in your life have significantly impacted you or have had a lasting negative effect, therapy can help. You may feel stuck as a result of these experiences. Maybe loved ones have told you to move on, but you can’t. Any experience can feel traumatic, and can lead to anxiety, depression, agitation, hypervigilance, flashbacks, nightmares, unwanted memories, unwanted thoughts, and heightened emotions. I use Internal Family Systems Therapy and EMDR in order to help clients heal from and release traumatic experiences or events.
